landscape of life
I've added a new design to the site. If you've visited before, you probably have a cookie saved on one of the other designs. To see the new one, click "landscape" under Style Sheets on the menu. The top photo was taken just outside kamloops and is soooo good. Note - not for use elsewhere without permission. The layout and colours and fonts aren't exactly how I would like them, so expect them to be tweaked a bit over the next few days. If you're still using Internet Explorer, stop it. The site won't display correctly for you.
And a reminder: if you don't like this design, you can change it back to one of the other ones by going over to the side menu under Style Sheets. (prairie blue was the most recent before this)

Posted by: jeremy at September 3, 2004 12:06 AMEver since I first stumbled across you site, I've felt a niggling sensation to change my design. I loved the old look!
I don't mean to be an arse because I know how much work can go into a site redesign but I can't read a word on your new look. I'm looking on a Mac with Mozilla :(
So you know, the content text is too small and too close in colour to the background. Also the bright colours of your LINKS are in shocking contrast to the rest of the site. Suggest filtering them out a bit if you want to keep the monochrome look.
So keep on tweaking and I look forward to seeing the end result :)
Posted by: mikeyinbarcelona at September 3, 2004 11:10 AMthanks for the comments, and yea i'm still working on the font and colours. my monitor busted a few weeks ago, so the old one i'm using now displays everything with a really dark green hue.. making brightness something difficult to determine.
I'll up the font size and work on making it all brighter.
And a reminder: if you don't like this design, you can change it back to one of the other ones by going over to the side menu under Style Sheets. (prairie blue was the most recent before this)
