reciprocity

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you," declares the LORD, "and will bring you back from captivity."

Never Mess With The Prophet Jeremiah. He was One Bad Prophet who spoke some serious words - so heed them well because Jeremiah does not mince words between destruction and Finding God or God finding us when WE go looking for Him.

I have left the path many times in my life, my young friend and when I was ready to re-engage the path, God was right there to welcome me back with a hug and Love.

oh man, i love this passage. it has been such encouragement to me in dark times. i hope it has been too for you. =)

jeremy: i recommend the song "When God Ran" by Philips, Craig and Dean. it's a moving song about The Parable of the Prodigal Son. it spoke to me when i drifted away from Him. =)
